Hutt Insurance Agency, Inc. is truly a “family” operation. My father started the business in Bay County, selling his first policy in January 1950. He incorporated the company in May 1961. To learn about the industry, I went to work for Continental Insurance Company in September 1963. After seven years, I felt my experience was adequate to return to Panama City and join my father in business, which was 61 years ago.
I was married to the love of my life, Mary Frances, for 50 of those years. She exemplified what the perfect wife and mother could be, and came alongside me (and Jean Owens) to help put together the best staff an office could ever hope to have.
We have come a long way since 1950, and I’m proud to say our son, Trey, makes the 3rd Generation of Hutts to provide care and coverage to our friends and acquaintances in the region. We will always remember that weserve the public, and our entire staff takes pride in treating our customers like family.
We have been blessed with loyal and dedicated employees who make a truly extraordinary team. We are proud of them and feel as if they are our family as well. So, please join us for a rewarding career in an amazing work environment.
